SUGAR Cosmetics Matte as Hell Lip Crayon : Review, Swatch, FOTDs
Hi, everyone. Today's post is about the SUGAR cosmetics matte as hell lip crayons which is one of the first makeup products launched by SUGAR cosmetics. SUGAR cosmetics is a new name in the beauty market launched a few months back and it is really exciting to see Indian brands coming up with such lovely makeup products in such interesting packaging !

SUGAR Cosmetics Matte as Hell Lip Crayons REVIEW :
These lipsticks come in a very classy black matte crayon packaging with a color coded bottom part. I absolutely love the packaging. You get a sharpener free with each lip crayon and it does its job pretty decently.
SUGAR launched 4 shades of these lip crayons namely, Hollygolightly (a nudish pink shade), Marry poppins(a blue toned fuchsia color), Scarlett O'hara(a true red) and Poison Ivy (a deep wine shade). I purchased two of these shades which are Scarlett O'hara and Hollygolightly.
Let's come to the texture and formula of these lipsticks. I always exfoliate and nicely condition the lips before applying any matte lipstick in order to get maximum color pay off and smooth application.
The lip crayon glide on very smoothly. The formula is soft and creamy and feels very comfortable on the lips. The color pay off is excellent yet they never feel heavy or thick. The lip crayon applies on the lips like a tint feeling really light while the color appears to be fully opaque. Few seconds after the application, the lip color sits on the lips as a matte tint and makes the lip appear healthy and sculpted.
Staying power is decent. Even if the color fades off after 3-4 hours, it leaves behind a very nice stain. As the formula is very smooth and light weight, I don't mind a touch up after a meal or having a drink. After the touch up it looks absolutely fresh and beautiful.
The shade SCARLETT O'HARA is a very bright true Red which which will work across skin tones. I am not very comfortable wearing bright reds. I rather choose bright pinks over reds, but honestly I am in love with SCARLETT O'HARA .
If you are looking for a perfect red lip color for a long time, then this should surely be your pick.
HOLLYGOLIGHTY is the nude color of this crayon family and I absolutely love this shade.This is like the MLBB shade for me. This is the perfect pink nude lip color for wearing to college, office and I do reach for this shade almost everyday. This one lip color is my hand bag essential right now! I am definitely going to repurchase HOLLIGOLIGHTLY in future.
Overall, I am very much impressed with the formula, color pay off, shade selection and staying power of these lipcolors. I really hope SUGAR wil bring more shades to this range. For now, HOLLIGOLIGHTLY is my personal favourite.
The downsides are that, these are priced a bit higher and with the price being at 799, not many people can think of buying several shades of these crayons. Also, they are available online only. So, it is a bit difficult for some of the ladies out there to get their hands on these amazing matte lip crayons.
